Introductory Workshop on DNA (eDNA) Metabarcoding

The Northern Australia Biosecurity Strategy (NABS) is all about identify gaps and supporting initiatives aimed at addressing these gaps for the benefit of biosecurity – both in northern Australia and nationally!
The Introductory Workshop on DNA (eDNA) Metabarcoding is an example of this in action! A critical skills gap was identified, and work was undertaken to design and deliver a program aimed at addressing the gap – for the benefit of staff, students, researchers, and academics in northern Australia.

The goal? To provide participants with contemporary, practical skills that will enhance biosecurity outcomes across northern Australia.

With no similar training currently offered in Darwin, we are thrilled to offer this unique opportunity to empower those working on the frontlines of ecological research, conservation, and biosecurity!
