Large animal handling training

‘The three days of LSS training vividly showcased the incredible benefits of cross disciplinary collaboration. Staff from various professions eagerly engaged with each other’s work, thoroughly enjoying the cross-team experience and building stronger relationships.’ And, ‘It was great to learn this gold-standard approach to handling cattle.’

This was just some of the fantastic feedback received from participants who attended last week’s, large animal handling training. This training was undertaken as part of the Northern Australia Biosecurity Strategy capacity building program. Not only was it good to have people learning new skills, but the networks and relationships that were developed will be critical into the future. More than that, 100% of participants said they would attend if it was held again in the future – and 100% supported future training on different topics.
